     Amigo Publications now has 27 years of consistent publishing experience presently publishing two newspapers (El Editor) in Lubbock and Midland/Odessa. EL EDITOR-LUBBOCK IS THE ONLY HISPANIC NEWSPAPER IN WEST TEXAS AUDITED BY A NATIONAL AUDITING SERVICE (CVS-AUDIT AVAILABLE ON REQUEST). Our Lubbock edition is audited for 2004-2005. We are also a charter members of the Texas Association of Hispanic Publishers and The National Association of Hispanic Publications and have received national recognition for our editorial content.

      EL EDITOR NEWSPAPERS are presently distributed in the entire West Texas region covering more that one-third of the state of Texas. With its current print schedule of over 25,000 and using widely accepted theories that bilingual weekly are read by at least 5 persons each, both newspapers claim a readership of over 150,000 people in West Texas. These ADI's are currently 22 and 24 in the nation in Hispanic population according to SRDS.

      In considering advertising in our newspaper you are probably aware that Hispanics now comprise over 25% of the population in the Lubbock area and up to 35% in Midland Odessa.

RATE CARD EFFECTIVE: January 1, 2004

CIRCULATION AND DISTRIBUTION:

      EL EDITOR NEWSPAPERS have been published every year consistently for 27 years (Lubbock) and 23 years (Odessa) and is designed to help you business reach the 250,000 Hispanics living in Lubbock, Odessa and the entire West Texas Area.  Lubbock circulation CPVS audit - completed for 2002.

      El Editor-Lubbock: 10,000 printed every week on Thursday. It is estimated that on the average, 5 people read 1 newspaper, making a total readership of more than 60,000.

      El Editor In Comparison to other area Hispanic newspapers: El Editor is a full time newspaper dedicated to informing and producing news and information designed to attract the readers' attention. It has been recognized by the National Association of Hispanic Publication for Outstanding reporting as well as various photo awards.

      According to SRDS, Lubbock and Odessa is the top 22 and 24 Hispanic ADI's in the United States with a combined population of over 150,000.

 MECHANICAL REQUIREMENTS:

EL EDITOR  is printed on a standard broad sheet PASS size page. Six columns (11.625) by 21 inches with a total 126 column inches per page. Double trucks are 13 columns for a total of 273  column inches.

Column size: 1 7/8 inch 1/8 inch between columns. Total inches across 11.625

Ads are accepted by e-mail at eleditor@llano.net

Number of total insertions must be specified on each individual insertion order in order quantity for frequency discount.

          Agency Commissions of 15% is given for camera-ready ads.

          A 5% translation charge may be added if extensive translation is required.

          All types of advertising accepted except for those deemed inappropriate or obscene by the editorial board.

DEADLINES:

      EL EDITOR-LUBBOCK: Published every Thursday. Deadline for all advertising and copy except for special services, on Tuesday at 4 pm before insertion date unless deadline extension is made personally or by phone by production manager.

        EL EDITOR-ODESSA: Published every Wednesday. Deadline for all advertising and copy except for special services on Tuesday at 5 pm before insertion date unless deadline extension is made personally or by phone by production manager.

BILLING:

      Accounts will be billed at end of each month unless requested differently. Accounts must be paid by the 10th of the following month in order to receive 2% cash discount. Accounts over 45 days will be assessed a 2% rebilling charge each time they are rebilled on the 1st of each month. Special promotions must be paid in advance.

      Up to 3 tear sheets will be sent upon request with monthly statements without charge.
