In the race for Lt. Governor, Democrat Linda Chavez-Thompson put up a good fight, but in the end incumbent David Dewhurst prevailed by a significant margin. And State Attorney General, Republican Greg Abbot retains his seat by winning his race against Democrat Barbara Radnofsky.
