Nice. A Hispanic honestly talking about thievery in the third person. What a fucking joke that is. You people, unlike blacks, don't leave shitty tips, you just do not tip. There are a couple exceptions to every rule but typically you don't. Failure to tip is stolen labor. And as far as actual stealing goes, you steal the absolute most. I have worked retail, with food, in office and have lived next to your kind. Theft is a part of your backwards culture. UGH!
Also when you are in line at the grocery store, just keep the line in place. Just because I don't have grand children in my twenties doesn't mean I have to stay at the store longer than you do. I mean I know you have a cook out to go to, but seriously. |

Bidal,
Wow! I am embarrassed at the last few statements I just read. I hope those writers weren't Latino(a)s. We Latinos have no need to be hateful.
I think a two year college is a step in the right direction. With the help of good community leaders like Frank Gutierrez, Eric Strong, Cory Powell, and Ysidro Gutierrez, I think the college will help not only black people, but all people living on the east side. Imagine high school children attending college level classes in the 9th grade and graduating high school with 2 year degrees and job skills! I firmly believe it is possible, because this is happening in Frenship School district right now.
I understand the effect poverty has on people. I teach many single, divorced, or displaced mothers and fathers at the 4-year college level. Their story is the same: "I am searching for a hand up, not a hand out, PLEASE HELP ME HELP MYSELF!". I applaud these brave souls and hope that their enthusiasm catches on in the east side of Lubbock.
Many desperate people make too many mistakes: have children ouside of marriage, and commit crimes or choose substandard living conditions and substandard jobs because they have been acclimated to the idea of doing less is the way to go. The goal of the 2-year college will be to intercept many of these people who would have never thought to apply to Texas Tech, LCU, or Wayland.
We need to have compassion on those who are desperate and out of touch with correct ways to live life.
Correct ways to live life applies to not just blacks, but Latinos, whites, and everyone else in-between.
Higher education will always point those thirsty for knowledge and a better life to want to walk in the direction of correct living.
Si Se Puede!

You could use some elementary education. Your spelling is terrible. If you want to criticize in the written word learn to use the dictionary or spell check ... both are free. If you can do better and dress better than your elected officials, run for office and show them how to dress. Lubbock can't wait to see your Barbie bod so show yourself and quit complaining and putting people down. |

Whom would it benefit, not the blacks. They are too lazy to get educated much less work. I am always hear east Lubbock must be developed, they are only going to rob those new businesses, what happened to the Churck's Chicken over there. There own employees were robbing the place.
As for Linda Deleon she needs to get a total make over. From makeup to a new do. She could also stand to loose a few pounds.
Has anyone ever told her about Dillard's or any good stores for clothing. I think she bys her clothes @ Levine's
